Life Lately: Week 50

This is what the past week looked like.

The snow and ice melted.

Manny is an eleven year old puppy.

Why is he acting out now in his old age?

Still loving my sleepy time mocktail and I enjoyed making it with this juice from our Thanksgiving trip.

Meal planning for the win.

Sweater weather.

Chicken nugget salad.

Cozy office vibes.

G's beef strog is one of my faves.

My sweet neighbor left a thoughtful little care package (and treats for Manny).

Manny has started going through the trash so now he's stuck in my office with me.

Chicken sheet pan dinner with lemon and Trader Joe's Green Goddess seasoning blend, onion and potatoes is another easy dinner favorite.

The snow is back.

Falafel bowl with cauliflower rice, tomatoes, cucumber, and Aldi's tzatziki dip.

My boys.

I made this Chicken Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Shells recipe and it was a winner, will make again.

Waiting (im)patiently for his walk.

Walking over to the neighbors' house.

Lynn always has the best snacks.

Euchre night.

She also has the best décor.

Snuggle bug.

The lake froze again and we even saw kids ice skating.

Listen to the ice, wild!

My heart.

We watched Carry-On on Netflix and it was a good thriller, 10/10 recommend.

Lazy weekend mornings are the best.

I haven't been to the theater in years (and my how they have changed!), but this Wicked loving girl had to see it in person.

I saw the play in 2011 and 2023 and it's in my top 3 musicals of all time (along with Hamilton and Rent).

I had to get popcorn, of course.

The movie was fantastic!

I'll be honest, it's one of my favorites so I was nervous...

But the movie exceeded all my expectations.

Ariana and Cynthia were absolute perfection (and Ariana's comedic timing, wow!!).

The sets were stunning.

The singing was incredible.

The dancing!!!!

I can't wait to be able to stream it and re-watch the Dancing Through Life scene a million times.

After the movie we went to Highland House for dinner and to discuss the movie (which is when you know it was a good movie!).

Good boundary setting.

Love this.

Rest is holy.

This made me emotional and also I'm planning on taking Manny with us to look at Christmas lights now.

Deep.

So true.

More silent nights.

This is encouraging as I'm still learning a new job.

Such a good dad joke.

It's funny because it's true.

This is me.

Accurate.

I love quantifying your commute like this.

Such a lie.

This made me laugh way too hard.
