Life Lately: Week 38

This is what the past week looked like.

It was a low key week with not much on the calendar.

I was about to give up on this book and then something happened and I flew through the rest of it.

Fave quote:

"Regret is such a waste of emotion. No matter how much we want to, we can't change the past."

Heron at sunset.

I had the opportunity to attend a fun little tasting Zoom meeting one of my suppliers' hosted.

Happy 11th gotcha day, Manny!

G finally got the Weber grill he always dreamed of owning.

He was sick of buying the cheap grills that needed replacing every couple years and his last grill was limping along after being hit by a tree last year.

The first thing he grilled on it was burgers and they were delicious.

G and I finished season 1 of The Bear and it just keeps getting better and better.

We had a four day weekend to soak up the last of the summer weather.

Brunchin'.

I loved this book so much!

Fave quotes:

"Nothing in life goes according to plan. Nothing. And the sooner you accept that, the better off you'll be."

"She was so young. She had no idea how long life was. People always said life was short, but it wasn't. Not really. You could cram so many different lives into one. Be so many different people."

Good cloud evening.

G is loving using his new grill and I'm reaping the benefits.

I loved the intro dance scene from The Perfect Couple and the show started slow, but ended up being a fun murder mystery with a satisfying ending.

A foggy morning that ended up being a gorgeous day out on the lake.

Steak on the new grill was good, but we both agreed Bowdies does it better.

A rainy day in the hot tub was the perfect way to end a relaxing week.

Yes!

Love this.

Wow.
