Picture perfect.
Golden hour.
Winter sunsets are next level.
Coffee tastes better on the beach.
Beacon vibes.
Seas the day.
California dreamin'.
Lunch at Las Brisas with dear friends.
Reunited and it filled my soul.
The only whale I saw this trip.
The view was too good not to go back...
The martinis may have been part of that decision too. ;)
We went to California two years ago and I never went past waist-deep in the ocean.
I regretted it ever since, so this trip I made it a goal to actually get in the Pacific and I did it (even went underwater!) and I was so proud of myself I had to capture the moment.
Happy hour.
If burrata is on the menu I'm probably going to get it.
Last sunset of the trip.
Lobster carbonara at Driftwood Kitchen.
Sunset state of mind.
The sky is just showing off now.
Ending the day and vacation on a bright note.
Early wake up call to head home.
Greenleaf Kitchen's breakfast sandwich was legit.
This cocktail was well earned after a 3.5-hour flight, 1 hour circling Dallas, 3 hours on the Oklahoma City tarmac, and 3 phone calls to get a connecting flight home.
Home sweet home, made even sweeter when we saw the lake had finally thawed.
We left the hotel at 5:20 a.m., and thanks to time zones and daylight savings, we didn’t hit the pillow until 5:20 a.m. the next morning.
I woke up at noon Sunday after going to bed so late...errr...early and cleaned the house, made a quiche, and watched my shows.
Manny was so tired from his fun adventures with the sweetest family with two kids, two dogs, and a bird.
My mom came over around dinner time and we caught up on the porch in 70-degree weather (!!) with chips, salsa, and margaritas.
This resonated with me because I was freaking out over layovers… and then I missed one.
Somehow, I figured it out, and we finally got home.
My mom sent me this and it hit.
The little things bring all the joy.
This is my prayer lately as the news continues to be heartbreaking.
Yup.
If you don't laugh you'll cry.
The struggle is real especially with the time change.
This made me lol.
For more life lately:
