This is what the past week looked like.
Looks like summer, but it was cold.
Continuing my organization journey and cleaned out the hall closet.
In office day potluck.
This wasn't my favorite Sager book, but I still had to know how it ended.
Fave quote:
"Several scenarios pop into my head, starting with the worst, because that's my default mode."
Of course it snowed when pontoons started going in the lake.
New kicks.
I read this for book club and it started out strong, but got a bit dry.
Fave quotes:
"By finding the beauty in imperfection, he showed he was ready to become a master."
"Growth mindset says, 'I don't know what I'm doing yet, it's only a matter of time until I figure it out.'"
"Potential is not a matter of where you start, but of how far you travel. We need to focus less on starting points and more on distance traveled."
"Ambition is the outcome you want to attain. Aspiration is the person you hope to become."
"What counts is not how hard you work but how much you grow."
"Character is your capacity to prioritize your values over your instincts."
"If personality is how you respond on a typical day, character is how you show up on a hard day."
My dad finished chemo this week, woohoo!
These Garlic Butter Turkey Meatballs were delicious.
We started The Residence this weekend and it's a fun watch.
Detective Cupp is the best.
Watching Ella play soccer is always a favorite.
Mom and Lindsey day of fun!
Starbucks run with my best girl.
Watching Benny play soccer is a new favorite.
Meanwhile G emptied his whole closet and did a major clean out.
Three hours later... Ta-da!
Eric is in the 40 club now.
The sweetest.
Bistro Joe's is a cool restaurant/store.
Delicious and gorgeous.
Maybe the best salmon I've had.
Bennett versus Ella making their dad sliders.
Benny won for putting truffle fries on the burger.
Jess: "What are you guys doing?"
El: "Being kids!"
Bahaha.
Coffee tastes better outside.
Manny with a side of fireplace.
The weather isn't cooperating, but these flowers are a good reminder spring is coming.
Sunday vibes.
Still thinking about this.
Holy week.
Amen!
Mind. Blown.
Feels about right.
It's funny because it's true.
I need this Ratliff spinoff.
Parker Posey is a gem.
It really is the good stuff.
Yes please.
For more life lately:
