Life Lately: Week 42

This is what the past week looked like.

Be vibrant.

Last swim with the whole gang on October 13th.

Last swim of the season on October 14th. :(

Sunset boat ride.

Exciting to see a project I'm working on announced to the world.

Much needed new kicks

I'm embarrassed to admit the soles of my old shoes were literally falling off.

Obsessed with my new wine glasses.

Burger bowls for dinner were a big hit and I'll make these again.

My handsome boy enjoying his boat ride.

The days are getting so short.

I love this lavender creamer in my blueberry coffee.

I want to be Manny.

Last of the heat leaving the lake.

I should have trusted my gut and stopped reading this book after 30 pages.

I just don't get the hype and after I finished it I was so frustrated I threw my Kindle.

Fave quotes:

"Don't you want to be alive before you die?"

"You know the greatest lesson of history? It's that history is whatever the victors say it is. That's the lesson. Whoever wins, that's who decides the history. We act in our own self-interest. Of course we do. Name me a person or a nation who does not. The trick is figuring out where your interests are."

Battle Creek office views.

Lunch with a friend.

Horrocks is my happy place.

The most whimsical beer garden.

Fall in a cup.

We had a team scavenger hunt and we had the best time...

Winning didn't hurt either. ;)

Picture perfect fall day.

Finally finished Proverbs.

Getting a boat ride in the nick of time.

Boat dog.

Speechless at a stoplight.

Watercolor sunset to the west.

Bubblegum pink skies to the east.

Old man Manny.

The way he uses a pillow like a human will never get old.

Lunch at Olivera's was delightful and so was the company.

Real Housewives of Potomac and Salt Lake City are both on right now and they are so good this year (and every year).

I had leftover sweet potatoes so I asked Chat what to make and created this delicious breakfast bowl with cilantro, eggs, and avocado.

Do not disturb.

The John Candy documentary broke my heart into a million pieces.

10/10 recommend.

Neighborhood watch.

Tea time.

Hang out with these people.

My favorite kind of text to receive.

I'm that age where I don't want to drive at night.

Give me all the warm drinks.

Still thinking about this.

Yes to all.

Deep.

James Clear gem from his newsletter.

This is actually haunting and has made me rethink how much time I spend on Instagram.

It's funny because it's true.

Bahaha.

It's the best thing since...er...sliced bread.

This made me giggle.

It really will be the cutest thing no matter how many times he does it.

(See Manny picture above).

That's us.
