Life Lately: Week 9

This is what the past week looked like.

Stunning skies.

Ruff life.

That leg though.

I adore a good salmon bowl.

E.T. ... I mean... Manny.

Cheers to girls night out!

Taco Tuesday.

Endlessly grateful for these friendships.

Girl dinner.

My best boy.

I absolutely adored The Rose Code because it opened my eyes to a part of history I had never truly understood. I had no idea that there was an entire group of people (mostly women!) working tirelessly behind the scenes to break German codes during World War II. Learning about the brilliant, determined women of Bletchley Park completely changed how I saw the war.

They weren’t on the battlefield, but their intelligence, resilience, and quiet courage helped shorten the war and save lives. The novel didn’t just tell a story - it revealed hidden history, and that made the experience unforgettable for me.

Favorite quote:

"Why and if. The most painful words in existence."

Library board meetings: where the snacks are good and the tea is even better.

After every grooming appointment, he acts like he owns the couch... blanket-free, of course.

Treated myself to a lavender latte while I was out running errands.

Neighborhood watch reporting for duty.

In Exodus now.

Melany's muffins are the best.

My little cinnamon roll.

Clearly I need to grocery shop, ha!

Watercolor sunset.

Interesting.

Convicting.

Love this gem from the James Clear newsletter.

It's funny because it's true.
