This is what the past week looked like.
The week started with a bang - literally - when a transformer blew and knocked out our power for a couple of hours.
Not the prettiest dinner, but definitely delivered where it counts - salmon over risotto and absolutely delicious.
Holy hour.
Old man Manny might be going a little deaf, but he's ridiculously cute.
Christmas colored vegetables.
Winter came back.
Still in my sleepy girl mocktail era.
Snug as a bug.
Having a moment with avocado cottage cheese toast.
Sunset skies.
Shirley Temple Poppi is my favorite flavor - hands down, no contest.
Sometimes you just crave a grilled cheese.
I asked G if we had Band-Aids so I’d be ready for an in-office day (blisters and all), and he said yes.
The next morning, he had a few options laid out for me and it melted my heart.
In-office selfie rocking my new star sweater and got the best compliment - I looked like Coraline!
Tried my competition.
Ladies who lunch.
Saturday morning walk downtown.
Flooded.
This was a sweet cupcake of a book.
Fave quotes:
"Grateful for whatever you have, whether it's a new car or a new packet of chips."
"The loneliness of all the shared memories with loved ones now being yours alone."
"Love is about picking someone up and never, ever putting them down again, no matter how heavy things become."
"You are the froth to my cappuccino."
"They say, 'when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.' To make lemonade you need sugar, and for me, humor is that sugar making the unbearable bearable."
Just when I think he couldn't get any cuter...
He goes and cuddles the blanket.
Golden hour.
Coffee tastes better on the porch.
Low key obsessed with TJ's egg frittata.
Attended my dad's Sunday school class and loved this line: "righteousness and peace kiss each other."
G's famous burger.
This show is a little dark and twisty and I can't stop watching.
Go #31!
Cheering our girl on at her soccer game.
Dinner with the family after the game at Stillwater.
10/10 recommend the scallops.
Look at that strong DNA between my brother (phone pic) and Benny - the resemblance is unreal!
I savored every moment watching El play soccer this weekend.
Totally me… except swap that out for an asparagus recipe, and you’ve got my vibe perfectly.
I'm not crying, you are.
Go green!
Haha.
Now I'm craving Lucky Charms.
It's funny because it's true.
This made me lol.
100%!
This I would love to see.
This is me. I am her.
RIGHT.
For more life lately:
