This is what the past week looked like.
That guy.
Happy February!
My sweet neighbor gave me these cute chairs and I'm inspired to make my office a bit more cozy.
Now I (G) need to paint, add art, and a chandelier.
Salmon bowls are one of our favorite dinners lately.
We bought a new car!
So we went out to dinner to celebrate, of course.
I'm still thinking about this pistachio pasta.
Not even on his blanket.
Lunch with a sweet friend on my in office day.
Neighborhood watch.
Sushi craving satisfied.
This was a good read.
Fave quote:
"Bad things don't always have a blaming place to land."
Banana pancakes are back.
Happy hour.
I never went to prom (G went to three!) so when an invite to a fundraiser popped up in my email with a prom theme I was all in.
It was fun to get dressed up for a good cause.
They even had a silent auction which we are a sucker for, but we didn't win.
The food was legit.
I'm going to sound so old, but the band was so loud it hurt my ears.
They were so good though!
This movie was silly, but it made me laugh so I'd recommend it.
This book was inspiring and now I want to join Peloton.
Fave quotes:
"Embracing uncertainty empowers you to take risks. The beauty of uncertainty is infinite possibility."
"Your mind is your strongest muscle. It holds the key to your belief about the way you feel and the way you see yourself."
"When you show yourself as who you are, your people will find you. Authenticity is the intersection of trust and truth."
"Life comes in seasons. Everything shifts and changes. I try to get the most out of the season that I'm in, because I know I'll never get it back."
"Grab a coffee and decide what version of yourself you want to bring into the day."
"When you are yourself, your people are better able to find you."
Creamsicle skies.
I thought the Super Bowl was kinda boring, but I loved the pre-show with Lady Gaga and Harry Connick Jr and the halftime show was fantastic.
My cuddle bug.
Things have not been boring around here and so this really hit me.
It's important to luxuriate in the boring because it's a blessing.
With everything going on in politics this reminder feels needed.
I love this so much.
This is why I wanted the Eagles to win.
Me too!
Hahaha.
Cuuuute.
Been there.
I feel seen.
Such an accurate depiction of cats and dogs.
Exactly.
Lol.
I don't understand how the #1 seed (the Lions!) cannot make it to the Super Bowl, but the Chiefs did and they didn't look like they belonged there.
Sports are confusing.
The Seal commercial was my favorite along with the Nike commercial.
This was funny because we snacked on TJ apps during the Super Bowl.
I love the memes after a pop culture moment.
Obsessed.
For more life lately:
