Life Lately: Week 25

This is what the past week looked like.

G's famous salmon bowls.

Sunrise walks.

Donuts are necessary before reporting out 2024 budgets.

Working lunch.

Unpopular opinion: Panera is overrated.

I should be able to swim by July 4th so I'm in the home stretch of this whole ordeal.

Manny turned 10 this week!

How was this 10 years ago?!

Have you made this sausage tortellini yet?

I just finished The Roughest Draft and I'm not sure if it was the book or me (it was budget week after all), but I couldn't get into the characters.

3/5 stars.

I loved these two quotes from the book:

"You've reached inside me with your words and your stories and wrote yourself onto my own soul. I was one being, one heart. Now, I'm half of everything and greater for it."

"I realized a life lived with you is the best story I could ever tell."

Avocado toast with a hard boiled egg is breakfast lately.

Ball of fire.

Work selfie in between supplier meetings.

Free lunch Thursdays at work, woohoo!

Tony the tiger spotting.

The planes never get old at Waco.

Waco is becoming my new favorite restaurant in Battle Creek.

This tastes like a tropical vacation in a glass.

Salmon burger (with pickled veggies!) and that fry sauce.

It's weird to go to bed before the sun sets, but it's been a long and exhausting (budget!) week.

Summer Fridays on the porch with a good book are perfection.

GBH catching lunch.

Dog days of summer.

Good cloud day.

Taco bowls: cauliflower rice, cilantro, ground turkey, onion, avocado and Greek yogurt.

Those summer niiiiii-ghhhhhts.

Sleeping with one paw on his toy, lol

Sunday brunch.

Quick storm (and we needed the rain).

I think waves are my favorite sound in the world.

Calm after the storm.

You are worthy right now.

Mind. Blown.

Yes!

"You should always be your biggest fan."

Just be kind.

Between my injury and then the lake being closed due to algae it hasn't been my favorite June.

Bahahaha.

It's funny because it's true.

Middle names are weird when you think about it, right?

I totally expect me from other people!!!
Also the last one, lol, I’m a Marie and so is my daughter. And so funny that when I was thinking of middle names for my 2nd daughter I said to myself “how about Marie?” forgetting for a second my first daughter was already a Marie 😆it just goes with everything!!
