I cannot
believe it’s Friday already. The week was busy and it went fast. It has been
rainy and cold all week, but this weekend is going to be gorgeous. 70s and
sunny. Amazing! Garth and I are planning on doing a good 8 mile hike tomorrow
to bask in the gorgeous weather. It’s hard to believe last Saturday during our
5k it was 30 degrees and there was snow on the ground.
Here are the
stats this week:
Pounds Lost: 1
lb
Pounds to Go:
33 lbs
It’s slow,
but it is progress and I’ll take it! My work out schedule looked like this:
Sunday - Rest
Monday –
Shred Level 2 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Tuesday -
Shred Level 2 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Wednesday -
Shred Level 2 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Thursday -
Shred Level 2 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Friday –
Shred Level 2 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Saturday – 8
mile hike
I am proud of
myself for getting up early and doing the workout. Level 2 is my least favorite
but I pushed through and did it each day. I’m glad I start Level 3 next week
though. I also found that playing music while I do the video makes it much more
tolerable. I think I even work out harder? Love that.
My food this
week has been good. I've eaten healthy, stayed away from a few temptations and
watched my portion control. I went back to an oldie but a goodie breakfast
option – whole wheat bagel thin, crunchy peanut butter and a dash of cinnamon.
Yum!
Ever since I mentioned Veggie Patch Mediterranean Spinach and Chickpea patties last week I haven't been able to find them. GAH! I hope they come back into stock to because I am obsessed with them.
Garth and I
have started seriously researching vacation spots and plan to book this
weekend. That will make working out and eating healthier so much easier. I need
a goal! An end. A reward. We are much more disciplined with food and exercise
when we have a vacation to look forward to!
How have you
guys been doing?

that bagel looks delish!!! Proud of you for getting up and working out too, it's sooo easy to get it knocked out in the AM. Well not easy, but you know what I mean.
glad your wrists survived a week of week 2! and so good you can walk with co-workers on your lunch break, how nice, and a great way to sneak in extra calories burnt!
I'm way behind in reading blogs, but just wanted to say great job! I just joined My Fitness Pal (or should I say re-joined) & I think tracking everything this way has been really helpful. I need to incorporate more activity into my days though. I'm thinking of pulling out The Shred & doing it in the mornings before work.
