Fit Friday: Operation 40

This was a good week. I followed the free weight watchers site and stuck to my 27 points. I must admit that I enjoy counting calories way more than counting points. Probably because I don’t pay for it, but it is a lot of work! I also like calorie counting better because a Jimmy Johns Beach Club is 824 calories. I know that is pretty heavy, but it is filling and I usually have enough calories to swing it. But on Weight Watchers? 20 points!! That just sounds way worse, right?
The stats this week:

Pounds Lost: 0 lbs
Pounds to Go: 34 lbs

Yeah, I don't know. I guess I'm losing inches? Whatever. I'm just going to use it as motivation to keep on keeping on. My work out schedule looked like this:

Sunday - Rest
Monday – Shred Level 1 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Tuesday - Shred Level 1 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Wednesday - Shred Level 1 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Thursday - Shred Level 1 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Friday – Shred Level 1 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Saturday – Walk 5k

My plan next week is to do the Shred Level 2 and then Level 3 the following week. My meals all week have been super random since I haven’t gone grocery shopping yet. I forgot how amazing almond milk and Special K Strawberry Cereal is. Oh my goodness! Delicious. I have eaten that for most of my breakfasts and lunches. I also made a killer tuna sandwich one day with an Arnold Thin sandwich thin, Laughing Cow Cheese, Romaine lettuce and tuna. YUM! That was my mom’s recommendation and she was right on the money.

A few other highlights for the week are Albie’s Chicken Pasties. We made them Saturday and Sunday night for dinner. Definitely a hit! We will be buying these and always having them stocked in our freezer for those nights we don’t feel like cooking.

We also took a gamble on Veggie Patch Mediterranean Spinach and Chickpea patties and they were amazing with a little Sabra Original Hummus. Another frozen meal staple for those nights I do not know what to have for dinner. Also a great lunch option!

It is always good to prepare for a plan B when you don't feel like cooking or forgot to defrost meat. These are filling, delicious options that don't require a lot of prep. I did not get paid to say that either.

How are you all doing?

I am doing WW on my own (free) too! The site I'm using makes it pretty easy.
