Fit Friday: Operation 40

The best part about this whole week was two of my co-workers mentioned they could really tell I had lost weight. That was huge for me because I have felt so discouraged at how slow the process has been lately! I needed that encouragement more than I knew.

The stats this week:

Pounds Lost: 1 lbs
Pounds to Go: 34 lbs

My work out schedule looked like this:

Sunday - Rest
Monday - Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers and 2 miles after work with Garth
Tuesday - 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Wednesday - 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Thursday - 2 miles on lunch with co-workers
Friday – Shred Level 2 and Walked 2 miles on lunch with co-workers

I was kinda lazy this week with my exercise. I mostly just walked every day. It was raining and cold outside and that just makes it impossible to get out of my warm bed and get going.  In my defense, we do walk pretty darn fast!

Our week ended up being kinda crazy so I only cooked once this week. Major fail! Well, twice because we are making dinner tonight and having friends over for dinner. We did eat healthy options on the go! We do plan to cook all weekend long (the meals I had planned for us this week) so I expect things to see a loss next week.

Most notable this week was my obsession for soup. I craved it every day. Maybe it was the weather. I don't know. But broccoli cheese soup never tasted so good this week!

The key really is planning ahead. If I don’t have food in the crockpot or rice already cooked and meat de-thawing in the sink it is so much easier to just grab soup from Subway or sushi on the way home. I made a big pot of rice last night and we have meat de-thawing for tonight’s meal and even though it will be chillier this weekend, it won’t be raining so we do plan to grill some chicken for stir fry.

How did you do this week?
