Fit Friday!

Nikki at The Pink Growl encouraged me to join her in Shape's Run 30 miles in 30 days and it was just what I needed to start preparing for my 5k this month. I'm in!

I printed out this plan and stuck it to my fridge to keep me accountable:

It seems very doable to me. I know Garth will do this with me because he is running the 5k with me! So I have my accountability. Do you want to join us? We can all keep each other accountable and encourage each other on. I know I will need it because running is my lease favorite exercise, but also the most effective. 

I plan to do The Shred or the Total Body Toners Workout on strength training days and my Jillian Michael's 6 Week Six Pack video. Today I did the core training and forgot how much I loved Jillian's 6 Week 6 pack video. It was a nice change and I feel good.

I will be cheering you on :) I think I convinced my friend to run a 1/2 with me, but it's in the fall so I don't have to start training till spring or early summer! Good luck to you- for sure you've got 30 miles!

Hey!!! (It's been awhile- haha!) This looks like an awesome plan! I KNOW you can do this! I find it's very helpful to listen to worship music while I run, but just having your hubby along will make it so much easier too!
