Random Musings


I'm itching for a vacation and I want to be here. Ocean. Cocktail in hand. Warm weather. Sunshine. Sign. Me. Up.

I found out a friend from high school lost her mom this week. It is heartbreaking. I will always remember her mom being so welcoming, warm and sweet. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

We were supposed to get 6 inches of snow this week, but we only got one inch. Phew. It's pretty, but I am so ready for spring.

 Garth and I watched Duck Dynasty last night. It is hilarious.

Speaking of TV, are you guys watching The Office? I got sucked back into this season after boycotting it after Steve Carrell left. I kinda like it again. But what are they doing with Jim and Pam?! I do NOT like it.

 How good does this Turkey Taco Casserole?! I am definitely adding that to the menu next week!

We are trying a new sushi restaurant tonight with friends. Nothing makes me happier than trying a new restaurant and I love sushi!

I feel like I say this every week, but Garth and I are going to become the incredible shrinking couple. Operation 40 is so on!!!! We are gassing up the grill and going all out with the South Beach Diet. It is time for both of us. And what better day to start then March 1? A new month. A new beginning.

I'm ready for winter to be over too! That Turkey casserole does look yummy. My husband and I are trying to get back on track with our weight loss too! We all can do it.
