Here is what the past week looked like.
Those ears though.I'm a succa for a pun.
Chick pea salad is my obsession for lunches lately.Good to see Manny back to himself after drugging him for the vet (because he is an angel until he sees a shot coming his way and then he is a SPAZ).He was so out of it G had to practically carry him to the car.
Broccoli cheddar quiche.A fun South African wine from Aldi (and it was delicious!).Another fun Aldi find. Both of these Aldi finds are AMAZE.
Visiting our mentee couple after their first month of marriage (and meeting their new addition!).Awww Jasper. My dress was a fun toy, lol.Goose family taking a little stroll. Our sweet mentees grilled up a yummy dinner and we sat outside and chatted.Morning walks are back (because it's too hot after work for old man Manny). He loves a pillow.New fave lunch: turkey wrapped in cream cheese and pickles. And cucumbers dipped in Aldi's Greek Yogurt Tzatziki are a great snack.Reunited!!!Cheers to THAT!Deb's daughter stopped by with her sweet newborn, River.Baby cuddles are the best.
We checked out a new restaurant, BJ's Restaurant.I had the salmon power bowl and it was delightful.
Someone posted this picture on FB of our lake from 1963 before the canal, roads or houses. So cool!
Sweet summertime. This was a quick, fun read."Bloom where you are planted."There is so much pollen in the air G swept and hosed down the porch."The earth laughs in flowers" - Ralph Waldo Emerson -The purple just pops.My boys.Taco Bell chicken power bowl obsessed.Living that lake life.I know I'm late to the game, but this show is SO GOOD.Can't wait for season 2!
Dog days of summer.Teriyaki chicken bowl. This is only one pontoon in this video, but at one point this past weekend we counted 7 pontoons (which is the most we have ever seen out at one time!).Never gets old.Yes please!Yaaaaaaaaas.Good reminder.
Happy June!Heck yes!The sweet spot.
