Life Lately: Week 38

This is what the past week looked like.

It's that time of year when the boats are leaving the lake.

We plan to store our boat on our beach so we still have some good boating time left for the season.

When the sun goes down it gets cold though.

The seasons are changing, that's for sure.

I continue to be impressed with Cutwater cocktails.

Peachy keen skies.

Water as smooth as glass.

Old man Manny loves a boat ride.

The weather has been incredible so I have been floating after swimming with the girls.

This was so good.

Fave quotes:

"Caring about things don't make you soft. It makes you alive."

"If you have the opportunity to make a moment meaningful, why not take it?"

GBH spotting.

A bit where's Waldo, but he flew away as we passed by.

Bat dog.

Sushi is always a good idea.

TJ sparkling water is legit.

Living his best life.

My forever wedding date.

TGIF.

Slider bar.

I love love.

The chicken sandwich was delightful.

Dancing the night away.

The beautiful bride.

G's work team.

Clever.

Deal me in!

Lunch with the rents.

National Geographic boat ride.

The next few pictures are from my dad.

Look at that closeup!

Did you know cormorants are strong underwater swimmers, but their wings are not water-proof so they have to dry their wings before flying away?

Baby map turtles.

Up close and personal.

Fun fact from my dad: herons pant (called gular fluttering) to cool themselves.

We ended the boat ride jumping off the boat. :)

The video was too long, but this screen grab from the unedited version where my mom has to grab M so he doesn't jump in after my dad made me LOL.

Perfect ending to a perfect day.

Happy hour.

My mom brought zucchini pie (my favorite!).

This doc was WILD.

Easy like Sunday morning.

Loved joining my dad's Sunday school class virtually.

Happy 12th gotcha day, Manny!

Still thinking about this.

Good reminder.

So important to get excited about the little things.

I feel seen.

Falling into fall.

What a beautiful way to describe music.

The good old days.

It's funny because it's true.

For more life lately:
