Life Lately: Week 22

This is what the past week looked like.

G grilled out on Memorial Day.

Find the beauty in every day.

Gorgeous.

This Whole Foods poke bowl was pretty legit.

It's good to be Manny.

This recipe is on repeat around here.

This book was sweet, but a bit heavier and sadder than your usual beach read.

Fave quotes:

"There is nothing more beautiful than being a witness to someone's life."

"You think that it's the big memories you should be chasing - and it is in a way. Birthdays and vacations and special occasions. But the small memories are the fabric of your life, the ones so inconsequential that you don't even remember them. You just remember how you felt when you were making them."

Selfie from the work shuttle bus to Chicago.

The best part about our Chicago office is the rooftop deck on the ninth floor.

Swooning over these views.

Starbucks vanilla latte.

Taste testing all the gummies.

See also: work perk! :)

Party set up.

Good eats.

We hosted G's work team.

It rained a bit when everyone arrived, but turned into a beautiful evening.

It was such a fun night.

G snapped this picture of me chatting it up on the deck.

Yard games at sunset.

Bonfire time.

G took a pretty good panoramic picture.

I laughed so much my cheeks hurt.

Sparkling at night.

We door dashed Chinese food on Saturday and had a very relaxing day.

Manny understood the assignment.

I went to one of my besties' graduation party for her son.

My sweet friend drove me to and from the party so she stopped in after the party and we continued to catch up on the porch.

Easy like Sunday morning.

I met my mom at a coworker's house to decorate for her son's graduation party.

My mom made the cookies and we set up this dessert table.

We "catered" the party by helping set up all the food and refilling for the party.

We made a great team and had fun.

Meanwhile, G watched a sweet baptism at the lake.

My mom and I celebrated at Lucky Rooster.

Shared a caprese flatbread that was delightful.

Golden hour.

I like this NA beer better than actual beer.

Beautiful end to a beautiful weekend.

Still thinking about this.

So grateful.

A gem from James Clear's newsletter.

Such a good visual.

Good reminder.

Lol.

Funny because it's true.

Right?!

Hahaha.

Need to stop staring at my phone because it will not fill the void.

So tense.

Undercooked!

I feel this in my soul.

Ha!
