This is what the second half of week eight looked like.
You can catch part one here.
"All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go."
We dropped Manny off and headed to our ParkSleepFly hotel with our fave Thai food.
At the airport bright and early.
Smiling happy faces.
Breakfast before our flight.
We loved our hotel in downtown San Diego.
We had a separate bedroom...
Sitting room...
And THIS view.
We were on the 11th floor and G hated the openness of the hallway and the glass elevators.
We dropped off our bags and headed out to grab lunch.
The prettiest sangria.
BLTA at the Union Kitchen and Tap in the Gaslamp district.
Birds of paradise.
We stumbled upon a festival.
Chinese New Year celebration.
I could watch this all day long.
Palm tree paradise.
I want that pink cowboy hat.
Seaport Village is such a cool shopping area with lots of shops and restaurants on the water.
Boats on the bay.
Appropriately named Big Kahuna.
Being touristy.
Sailboat spotting.
The iconic statue.
My favorite vacation buddy.
The USS Midway.
We explored the Headquarters at Seaport and walked through the old police station where G wanted a mug shot, ha!
Be the change you want to see in the world.
I was in town for a conference and G tagged along.
It was neat to see an ocean liner going out to sea with product from my suppliers.
Happy hour at the hotel (and this sangria was legit).
Dinner at New York West.
Whew, what a good walking day.
Stay tuned for more Cali adventures!
