Life Lately

I'm just not sure how I'm feeling about Elementary anymore. I was really into it, but with the latest twists I'm not sure I like where they are going. But Garth and I found a new show we are addicted to lately called Men at Work. We saw a preview of this show and I thought it was dumb, but Garth was cracking up. So we tried an episode and we are both hooked. It is hilarious! I highly recommend it and am hoping it doesn't get cancelled.

Speaking of television, I started watching Newlyweds: The First Year on Bravo and I'm kind of obsessed. I don't know what it is about marriage, but it fascinates me. I enjoy watching the couples and dissecting their relationship. So. Interesting.

The irises in our front yard are in full bloom and they are stunning. A few blossoms had fallen so I snipped them and stuck them in a vase and set them on my kitchen table. They just make me instantly happy every time I walk by them. It really is the little things. But, seriously, aren't they gorgeous?

I wish they lasted longer than a few weeks.

The CMAs are on tonight!!! My country loving heart is so stinkin' excited!!

We found a new sushi place and I'm so pumped. Our favorite place of all time is far away and inconvenient so we never get sushi. I have been craving it like crazy lately and a co-worker recommended a place by my work so I picked it up Monday night. It was expensive, but incredible.

I saw this on Erin's blog and thought it was awesome and I just had to share. As a huge Jurassic Park fan this photo makes my heart so happy.

The vegetables we planted two weeks ago are starting to sprout! It is the cutest thing - Garth gets home from work and immediately heads to the garden to check up. Well yesterday was the day! It is all so exciting. I cannot wait to be able to pick the veggies from our garden and eat them. I think I'm starting to understand the draw of gardening.

The weather in these parts has been absolutely amazing for our daily walks on lunch. Sunny and high 60s. Not too hot. Not too cold. Perfection.

LOVE your Iris'! We accidentally pulled ours thinking they were weeds since we had forgotten where we planted them last fall. Grr. When I realized it I was so upset! Hopefully they grow next year!
