Garth and I decided to start a puzzle.
It seemed relaxing and fun to do mindless work. We started
small with a 750 piece puzzle and it’s a good thing we did because it is HARD.
We almost bought the 1050 piece puzzle of Africa. Crisis averted. This is a
good enough start. We spent an hour and got the bottom and top row done and then
we needed a break.
While I’m not the biggest fan of winter, I do enjoy this
time of year. I’m taking time off this month to relax, reorganize, deep clean
and see old friends. I’m super excited! I cannot even imagine if I didn’t
reorganize and cleanse every year. In a matter of year I accumulate so much stuff. Our house isn’t great on storage
space so I like to donate anything and everything we haven’t used in the last
year. It’s very cleansing.
I plan on using this site to help me organize, especially drawers and closets. I’m super clean and neat,
but like Monica I have my messy closets (and drawers) that I just cram
everything in. It drives me crazy and I just need to tackle it and create a
system so it doesn’t get so bad every year.
Work has been insanely busy lately. Last week I stayed late
every day and that is making time fly by way too quickly. I hope to get all our
Christmas shopping done this weekend.
We dog sat this past weekend and I’m pretty sure we are
ready for a dog. Garth is literally hand feeding Toby carrots.
Do you guys watch Cougar
Town? My good friend Claire and I are obsessed. It is hilarious. It is
really just about a group of friends, sound familiar?;) Well when Courtney Cox’s
character has a bad day she gets out her Big Joe wine glass and Claire and I
always joke we need one.

Well now they have one on the market called the XL Wine
glass. How funny is this? It fits an entire bottle of wine!

That wine glass is a must!
I have heard good things about Cougar Town and Elementary! Hrrmmm...
I may need to check these out.
How funny, we just got a dog! I'm really glad we waited, she came at the perfect time :)
That Elementary show reminds me of a detective show for kids I used to watch on PBS back in the day, SquareOne/Mathnet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathnet Such cool shows. Is that one a cable one, I've never heard of it?
aww...puzzles! I used to do puzzles all the time with my family, I wish I had a table now that I could devote to a big puzzle...of course Elyse might like to chew on the pieces!
