Weekend Recap

I hate when I waste a weekend night and I totally did that Friday. I made dinner, we sat on the deck for a little bit and then I fell asleep at 9p.m. Totally lame!!!! Poor Garth made a bonfire and sat out there all by himself.

Saturday I slept in and woke up to the nicest surprise! Garth brought me breakfast in bed! Do I have the best husband or what?! Love him so stinkin' much! I love eating in bed, it is the finest of luxuries to me. Not so much for Garth, but he hung out and chatted with me and I shared my breakfast with him. Perfection.

After the laziest of mornings I was off to co-host a baby shower for a dear friend. Epic fail on taking pictures. I only snapped one of the favors we made filled with Jordan Almonds. Yummo! But it was a lovely day with some great girls from work.

Sunday was filled with church and serving other mommas at the soup kitchen. It is always such a humbling experience to serve others. I love doing it and want to do it more often. My mom just got back from Spain on Mother's Day so we didn't get a chance to celebrate with her yet. But to all the moms out there, I hope you had an incredible day. I love my mom so much and if I could be half the mom she is I would call it a success!
