So I had the bed to myself, which I wasn't thrilled about. I didn't want to be that couple that didn't share a bed! But I didn't want him to suffer, that's for sure. Garth said when he woke up the next morning I was spralled in the middle of the bed taking up every inch of our queen sized bed. I guess I like having the bed to myself afterall.
Garth finally went to the doctor yesterday becuase it was just not getting better and I was getting worried it was something serious. The diagnosis? He overdid it. Running four times a week was a shock to the system and led to the back pain. The doctor suggested muscle relaxers and new tennis shoes. I guess he will be using his Foot Locker gift card this week! The good news is that resting it was good, but the doctor gave him the green light to run again this week. He could not be more thrilled to get out and run in shorts for the first time this year.
In other news, I woke up with the worst migraine of my life on Sunday. With Garth's hurt back and my migraine we were a sad sight. I had one of those migraines that it just hurt to move. I wouldstart crying I was in so much pain. Garth made me take Tylenol which I try to avoid taking at all costs. And felt a million times better! I don't know why I fought it for so long.
We are both feeling better though and ready for a productive, healthy week! I ran two miles with Garth yesterday and didn't feel like I was going to die. That is progress for sure. And I feel amazing and can't wait to run again tonight.

Glad to hear you are on the mend! :) I HATE migraines! They are the worst!
Yay for nothing serious with Garth's back.
ughh...headaches are the worst! and I normally avoid medication as well, but sometimes that's the only thing that will provide relief!
Glad that Garths' back wasn't anything serious!
So glad Garth's back ended up being something not too serious, but I'm sorry that he had to deal with pain at all-no fun. So sorry about your headache too, they can be the worst!
Well, I hope you are both feeling much, much better!
Praying for speedy recovery!
My boyfriend has some back problems (probably because of his height, he is 6'4) and sometimes he is in so much pain and I feel like I can't do anything to make him feel better!
Headaches are the worst! I am not a fan either of taking too much tylenols, but it helps!
Glad it was nothing serious!
Hope you're both on the mend soon!
I can't believe Tylenol by itself helped your migraine. That's amazing you didn't have to take something stronger - I'm so glad it helped. Tylenol does nothing for me - I don't even take it - Advil works for me though. FUnny how medicine works differently with different people. Thankfully, though, I don't get migraines. I've only ever had one and I hope I never had another. I hope you never have another! Yikes. I hope you guys feel better. I had a root canal yesterday, so I know what it's like to be in all that pain. ugh!

Oh no! I can sympathize; Chris has a bad back and when it goes out, he has to take muscle relaxers and pain medicine. It's scary when it goes out because he is in so much pain -- he literally cannot move. I am glad Garth has nothing serious going on with his back. And migraines are the WORST!
Oh my gosh! Praying for poor Garth! Good shoes are SO important. Hope you're feeling better too. That's not fun :(
Glad to hear that you are both feeling better. It stinks when you are both sick at the same time.
Glad he's feeling better - your back is definitely not something you want to injure.
Running will do that...glad both of you are doing much better!!
Sorry to both of you....hope you both are on the mend.
