1. Stain the deck and front porch.
2. Paint all the wood in our bathrooms. I got the idea from Bower Power Blog and I love the way it looks. Our bathroom wood looks very similar to this:
And look at the after. Swoooooooooooooon!
3. Paint this white desk black to match the bookshelf.
4. Make this wall art.
5. Caulk the crown molding.
6. Spray paint all the gold light fixtures in our house. We have A LOT of gold in our house and we plan to tackle this project this weekend. I think it's a cheap and relatively easy project with a dramatic outcome:

7. Paint the kitchen. This probably won't happen until we are ready to upgrade our appliances but I think it will make the kitchen look so modern. Here is our kitchen now:
I love the dramatic effect of this kitchen from Young House Love:
As much as I would LOVE to paint our kitchen white, I know we would need to get stainless steel appliances. I think this project won't happen for awhile then. Though that freezer makes me green with envy!
8. Turn our living room into an Italian, romantic, fun place for dinner parties. I'm not sure what this looks like just yet, but I see pictures of the Italian countryside, a wine bar, a new table and light fixture, and "Mangiare!" stenciled on the wall.
9. Buy a King sized bed and move our Queen into the guest bedroom (that currently has no furniture) and make an African themed guest room.

I love the african theme guest room idea!
Love your ideas! Especially the bathroom one, since I'm the process of redoing our master bathroom I'm always looking for great ideas.
We have a lot of gold "fixtures" in our house too and I've been trying to think of how to phase them out. Like doorknobs. Ugh.
love that bathroom too, it's super pretty with the blue and the flowers. I would totally steal that!!
couldn't you do white cupboards with your white appliances? I'm trying to think now if I've ever seen that, I think it could work...
LOVE the bathroom!
Have fun with all the updating. I can't wait to do DIY projects myself.
I love the bathroom ideas and for your kitchen if you want to paint before you get appliances I bet you could do a pretty gray on your cabinets.:) Can't wait to see all of the DIY projects coming together.
So many wonderful projects! It's always nice to make those little improvements in the household to spruce things up. Good luck!
that all sounds fabuluos! we've got the deck project on our minds for this summer!
I love how that bathroom looks so different with just a little bit of paint!
I love your deck....I would love to have a big one like that.
