Life Lately: Week 34 (Part 1!)

This is what the past week looked like.

I had high hopes for this one because I loved Nora Goes Off Script, but it was just okay for me.

3 out of 5 stars.

Manny moomers.

Having a Greek salad moment.

Sweet summer nights.

Typical Tuesday night.

Manny laying on the couch, G playing chess or watching soccer, and me in the hot tub reading.

Americano.

Tukey sandwiches for lunch this week.

In office day.

This reminded me of the Mitch Hedberg joke: "Escalators can never be broken, they can only temporarily be stairs. Sorry for the convenience, you can still get where you are going."

Bring on the heat!

Taco salad for dinner.

Creamsicle skies.

I had a dream about a snake and the next morning Manny and I saw one on our walk, wild!

Sunsets will never get old.

Pillow hog.

G and his coworkers were looking up their names in the Urban Dictionary and G's was too inappropriate to post here, but I liked mine.

We had a really bad storm and a lot of nearby cities lost power or had down trees.

Paddle Hard Brewing to kick off vacation.

The lobster mac and cheese was legit.

Honorable mention to G's pizza which he loved.

Shiny happy people.

We stumbled onto a car parade as we walked out of the brewery.

So many cool cars.

The Mighty Mac!

We played a lot of Uno this weekend.

Cabin views in Mackinaw City were pretty spectacular.

Friday night lights.

The bridge was mesmerizing.

Pretty epic firework show.

Coffee tastes better on vacation.

Pear Bellini.

10/10 recommend.

The food, drink, and service at Pancake Chef were excellent.

We walked into this unique medieval store and I couldn't resist a selfie with this guy.

Those wings though.

We started a trend because after G told me to pose a line of people formed to take pictures after us, ha!

Lake Huron.

The service and drinks at Hook were meh, but the views made it worth it.

A little wine tasting.

Meanwhile Manny was at a new dog sitters' because the one we had booked lost power and you couldn't get in her sub due to a fallen tree from the storm.

Beach day.

Give me all the freshly caught white fish.

Still not over these views.

We went to the community campfire and met some really interesting people and had deep conversations about marriage and kids.

Sunday sunrise.

Manny was not living his best life, but we didn't know that yet.

Stay tuned for part 2!
