This is what the past week looked like.
Over the river and through the woods.
So fresh and so clean.
Grilled salmon with Brussels, sweet potatoes, and avocado.
Ready for adventure.
Cheers to vacation!
Grateful for my parents for watching this guy while we were away.
My mom made her famous chicken stir-fry.
This stir fry is renowned - an award winner that lived up to every memory.
A cutie puppy in the security line, plus the small joy of keeping our shoes on.
We stayed at the B Ocean Resort like we did last year.
That's the plan.
Our view for the next couple days.
He looks like a tiny dinosaur, and I feel like I’ve stepped into Jurassic World.
Fort Lauderdale, you're a star.
Lunch at Cafe del Mar.
The setting was idyllic.
Ocean views, people watching, and live music.
Lobster ravioli to kick off my seafood era.
The beach is calling and I must go.
Best sound in the world.
Yacht vibes.
Marina Village is lit.
The cacio e pepe pizza from Blue Steel Pizza Co was just as good as last year.
Christmas morning.
A tropical take on a white Christmas.
If we were sending Christmas cards, this would be it.
Wishing you joy, hope, and warmth this season.
Snowman, but make it coastal.
Christmas brunch at Burlock Coast.
I thought last year me was being dramatic when I declared the huevos rancheros the best I ever had, but I was right.
Meanwhile back at home Manny was overseeing my mom's workout.
Being touristy.
We preferred our room this year over last, thanks to the breathtaking intercoastal and ocean views - truly the best of both worlds.
G and I exchanged gifts of sunshine, warmth, and endless beach moments.
Happy hour.
Christmas dinner at 3030 Ocean.
Dinner and a view.
Patio sitting in December is something I never took for granted.
Still thinking about the crab mac and cheese and truffle fries.
Shiny happy people.
Kicked off the day with laps in the pool.
Beach bum.
Stay tuned for part two tomorrow!
