Fit Friday!

Workouts this week:

Sunday - Rest
Monday - Walk an hour on lunch and Body Revolution (BR) Workout 9
Tuesday - Walk an hour on lunch
and BR Workout 10
Wednesday - Walk an hour on lunch and Cardio 3
Thursday - Walk an hour on lunch and Clean the house
Friday  - Walk an hour on lunch and BR Workout 10
Saturday - BR Cardio 3

I started the last month of Jillian's Body Revolution. Praise the Good Lord! I'm getting tired of that woman. I absolutely hate Workout 9. I absolutely love Workout 10. I'm not sure why I can hate one so much and love the other one so much more. I guess maybe because Workout 9 is so much more yoga and body weight moves and Workout 10 is more weights and jumping with weights. I like to jump with weights. I was dripping in sweat and I liked it.

Weigh in this week:

Pounds Lost: -.4 pound
To Go: 45 to go
Total Lost: 11 pounds

I am not too surprised by this due to the fact I didn't have a great weekend last weekend. Why are weekends so hard?! Plus our girl scout cookies came in. So that didn't help. This weekend I plan to be a bit more active. I'm back on track and more ready than ever to get past this plateau.

In other news, three different coworkers have mentioned they could tell I've lost weight. Three different people! On three different days! So something must be going right. I'll take another before picture Saturday. These monthly pictures do help when the scale isn't moving. G came down one morning last week while I was working out and commented that he can tell how much stronger I am. He saw me struggling 60 days ago when I started these videos and he could tell I've gotten stronger and can do harder moves. That feels great!

Thoughts this week:

(via)

Since last week I'm more aware of negative talk. I'm turning my negative talk into positives. For example, the old me of last week would think and dwell on the fact that "I didn't work out last Thursday." The new me thinks "You worked out 5 days this week and walked all 5 days! Great job!" Focusing on the positive!

The above quote resonated in me. I'm getting stronger. People are noticing a difference. I'm happier. I'm cooking more. Enjoying the journey. I'm designing a life I love. And it's awfully hard to be negative when I'm doing that!

Breakfast this week:

Spinach Egg Bake with gouda instead of feta. GAME CHANGER.

Blueberry Oatmeal Bake. My sweet friend that I swap recipes with gave me a few slices of this. It is a filling delicious breakfast.

Lunches this week:

Leftover chicken chili with a side of carrots. I love that this chili was easy to make and G and I could eat it for lunch the majority of the week.

I also had a sandwich thin with mustard and spinach with a side of carrots and an apple when the chili ran out.

Snacks this week:

Cottage cheese again this week. I'm a little bit obsessed right now and loving all that protein.

Clementines are the perfect morning snack.

Kind bars. An oldie but a goodie.

Dinner this week:

Monday - I forgot to take chicken out to thaw so we grabbed Jimmy John's. I ate half a Beach Club with Brussels sprouts.

Tuesday - I grabbed flat iron steak from the feezer and throw it in the crockpot with onions, carrots, potatoes, beef broth and french onion mix. YUM. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ate half of this and the other half for lunch the next day.

Wednesday - My plan was to grill chicken and asparagus and make stir fry. But I couldn't pass up leftover Qdoba taco shells from a work meeting so we grilled the chicken for tacos instead. The Qdoba shells took tacos to a new level. So good!

Thursday - Shrimp and Scallops. We had dinner at a friends house and it was my first time trying scallops and I'm a fan. I need more seafood in my life.

Friday - Tonight I'm having a sushi and wine night at my house with some girlfriends. Yes please!
