- You are tired of hearing yourself say "Sit," "Stay," "No bite," and "Come."
- You are out to a nice restaurant and realize you have dog treats and bags in your coat pocket.
- You start calling your puppy the nicknames you gave your husband.
- You realize just how much work having a puppy really is and how much work goes into training. It is not for the faint of heart.
- Saying "No leaves in the house!" is a normal statement in your house.
- You have to stop yourself from talking too much about your dog and how cute and funny and clever he is.
- You live for those sweet cuddles at the end of a long day.
- You have to stop yourself from taking a picture of Every. Single. Thing. He. Does.
- You just stare stupidly at your dog marveling over how you hit the jack pot with the best dog.
- You feel guilty for leaving him all day. Not giving them a long enough walk. Taking him to get shots at the vet. Making him ride in the car. Guilt. Guilt. Guilt.
- You scour the library for all the Cesar Milan books they have and read them cover to cover to learn everything about dog training that you can.
- You have to keep reminding yourself that it won't always be like this. He will eventually sleep through the night. Be potty trained. Listen. Be trusted to roam the house without supervision.
- You keep saying "I can't believe how big he is getting! He is growing too fast."
- You wake up to the sound of him whining and no longer need an alarm clock.
- You wonder how you ever lived life without him in it. He just makes everyday so much fuller, happier and sweeter.

I can so relate to every single thing you just said :)
Add to that list, "No jump" for me... I have a bunny rabbit hopping dog!
Totally true! I am so glad I am over the potty training stage and we recently are able to leave Sadie out in the house during the day! You will get there, no worries!
