Fit Friday

This week was not my best. It was a fun week, but also busy. A little crazy even. I was also not super great over the weekend which led to gaining a pound. But! I did lose that pound and get back on track from Tuesday to Friday.

Here are the stats this week:

Pounds Lost: 0
Pounds to go: 16

Gah! I'm so glad I got back to the weight I was last Friday, but I wish I had more self control and was able to lose another two. At least my work outs were good this week!

Sunday - Ripped in 30 Level 3
Monday - Shred Level 1 and walk 3.5 miles
Tuesday - Shred Level 1 and walk 3.5 miles
Wednesday - Shred Level 1 and walk 3.5 miles
Thursday - Shred Level 1 and walk 3.5 miles
Friday - Shred Level 1 and walk 3.5 miles

I don't have a problem sticking to my calorie count during the week. But the weekends are SO hard for me. I try to be good, but I seem to lack self control. Especially with entertaining, hanging out with friends, having date nights. I know it shouldn't all center around food. But in our culture it is just so easy to do!

Do you struggle on the weekends? Do you have any tips or tricks to staying on track?

man I wish I had an answer for you, but I think that summertime is just hard in general! It's fun to grill and that's the easy part...it's all the yummy, frozen sweets and summertime parties that get me into trouble!

I find that staying busy on the weekends is key for me! We're going paddle boarding tomorrow morning, so I know that the morning I'll be busy and then deserving of something yummy for lunch! :)

It is so hard to have food self control, especially on the weekends and hanging with fam and friends!

I always tracked my weight really closely and only a couple times put the scale away, worked out, ate well overall, etc., so I finally did that again a couple months ago! I feel like weighing myself everyday messed with my head because I got so discouraged if it wasn't what I wanted it to be or thought it should be. And it can vary so much anyway. I go by how I look and feel, how my clothes fit. It's still tough sometimes (a lot ;)) but I definitely feel better and more relaxed and I think that helps too! Sorry that was so long! ;) I think you're doing great!
