I don’t know if it’s the weather or what but I have had a hard
time getting up in the morning and I don’t have an excuse because I slept a lot
this past weekend! So I haven’t had time to do P90X so I have been alternating
levels of Jillian’s Ripped in 30. I love that they are about 25 min shorter
than P90X and I still sweat tons and am sore.
My eating has been good, not
great. We have had something after work every day this week so it has been busy
so I haven’t made super great meals. Yesterday Garth
and I went out to dinner with my parents and it was a lot of fun, but I am not always good at restaurants!
It is nearly impossible for me to be good when we eat out. My rule is just eat half then and I did.
I have been counting calories and keeping my calories under
1500 but I still haven’t seen the scale move. I need to get back to my goal weight and I will. I found this site about joining Weight Watchers for free and started counting points and realized I eat a lot of food that is high in fat and low in fiber. That my totally be my problem with why I'm not losing weight. I have started incorporating more foods with fiber and protein like toast and peanut butter and oatmeal. I'm feeling fuller too which is great.
In other news, Garth bought me new shoes yesterday! I told him New
Balance shoes were only $40 at TJ Maxx so he went and surprised me with a pair
yesterday. They are pink and black and so comfy! I used them this morning in my
workout and they are great! And I can’t wait to wear them running with G this
weekend! I had my old New Balance kicks for over ten years and when I would run
in them my feet would get so blistered.
And can we just talk about how proud I am to be a Detroiter right now? Soooo proud of the Tigers!!! It was an awesome game and really fun to watch at a restaurant and hear the crowd go crazy every time we scored. We are going to the World Series, woohoo!!!!

I have the same sneakers, but mine are grey and neon green. I love them! Super comfy and light.
cute shoes! i definitely need some new shoes for working out...I'm in love with my Saucony's but I need to find some on sale!
Have you checked out MyFitnessPal?
I need to lose weight, too. I still have baby weight, but I've just been too overwhelmed to go workout.
That is so cute your husband surprised you with a new par of shoes! And like "Miss Caught Up" mentioned, I love MyFitnessPal!
omg Lindsey, exercise shoes (esp running!) need to be replaced every 500 miles (est 6 months) because the insole wears out and you can do damage to your feet. 10 years!!? :( Keep that in mind next time you see cute shoes ;) And I like those black/pink shoes, hot!
