Garth loved his ribs, but I loved my fried green tomatoes. They were incredible. Don't even get me started on the mac and cheese. Ahhhhhhmazing. I give this place an A+ for sure. So good.
But back to the food. Seriously, so good.
After lunch we made one last pit stop at the general store. I saw bears!!!!
This is hilarious: a mason jar with a stem and the title "Red Neck Wine Glass." Love it! I just love touristy stores.
We drove four hours north and stayed in Lexington (yeah Hotwire!). This time we stayed at a Four Points Sheraton and it was very nice. The only complaint I had was the air conditioner didn't work and it took them over an hour to change our room. But we got free breakfast for the inconvenience so that helped me get over it. We had an uneventful (thank God!) drive home on Sunday and it was so nice to be home.
That concludes our vacation recaps. We had a wonderful time. It went way too fast, but we cherished every moment and made lots of amazing memories.

I was SO hoping that y'all tried Calhouns!! We love eating there! Seriously, we have drove up for the weekend just because we wanted to eat there. My husband gets their ribs and I get their house steak - they are both to die for. So glad y'all enjoyed yourselves!!
Don't you just love fried green tomatoes? I don't know if there is anything better...I am so looking forward to a tomato festival around our town where we can get some delicious ones! All your food from your vacation posts looks delicious! Also, don't you think they should sell green tomatoes at the grocery store so you could make some at home anytime you wanted?!
