No like. It tasted like watered down wine. And it was hot. Ewww. It was a gorgeous, balmy 75 degrees out so after a yummy dinner we walked around town.
On Saturday we did a little house project I'll talk more about tomorrow. Then we spend the rest of the day outside. I cannot get over this weather! We sat on the deck and read, grilled steaks for lunch, and just enjoyed our deck for the first time this year. We had havarti cheese and crackers with salami and white wine for dinner. I love cheese and crackers for dinner and we hardly ever make it, but it was so fun. After dinner Garth made a fire and we enjoyed the company of our neighbors. I woke up the next day with FIVE mosquito bites. In March. Insane!!!
Sunday we went to church and then went out to lunch with friends. We went for a long walk, relaxed on the deck, grilled, and watched Hugo and My Week with Marilyn. I loved them both so much. I have always been fascinated with Marilyn Monroe so I found the movie incredibly interesting. As for Hugo, I didn't know what to expect. I knew nothing about it, but I adored it. The story, the acting, the special effects... I just loved it all. I highly recommend this movie!
Now I'm getting into the grind of the week. It will be a busy week with running, wedding activities, and small group but it will be a fun week. My menu this week is not very exciting but here it is:
Monday - Grilled salmon with wild rice
Tuesday - Chicken Stir Fry
Wednesday - Tuna Melts
Thursday - Rehearsal dinner
Friday - Spinach and Feta Pie
What's on your menu?

sounds like a fabulous weekend...this weather has been gorgeous!
but BOOO for early mosquito bites! I can definitely do without those!
Sound like a great weekend!
I also dislike saké! Nasty taste!
Have a great week!
Bummer you didn't like sake. I love it. Like anything there are good sake's and bad ones. I would recommend trying it cold, I've only had it warm once or twice and didn't like it nearly as much. You might prefer an unfiltered sake too, they are a little sweeter (they have a cloudy, milky appearance)
Looks so fun! And, I really miss sushi. That sounds fabulous.
LOVE sushi, don't like Sake. Yuck-o. Agreed, and what a fun weekend!
