Menu Monday

Meal planning has become an obsession for me. I love it. I love planning and organizing so I'm not sure what took me so long. But it sure helps to not have the same conversation with Garth everyday that goes something like this:

G: "What do you want for dinner?"
L: "I don't care. What do you want?"
G: "I don't care either. What do we have?"
L: "I don't know. Let me check. How about spaghetti?"
G: "I don't feel like that."

And on and on and on. We may be the most indecisive people ever. Now I can just go on my phone apps like Food on the Table, Quick Meals, Healthy Recipes, Spinner Dinner, etc and meal plan with Garth as we drive to the grocery store Sunday after church. Brilliant!

But you guys have been talking about SkinnyTaste so I thought I would try some recipes out and spice things up. We have been eating a lot of the same things so it is time to try new recipes and find more favorites.

Monday: Baked Potato Soup
Tuesday: Spinach Lasagna Rolls
Wednesday: Crockpot Chicken Enchilada Soup
Thursday: Black Bean Salad
Friday: Baked Mozzarella Sticks

What's on your menu this weekend? Are you trying new recipes too?

Haha! Your conversation sounds similar to the ones we have when it's time for dinner. Who would've thought food could be so stressful! Sounds like a delicious menu you have going for the week. Enjoy!

That black bean salad looks AMAZING! Wow. Yum.

I am a terrible meal planner, but I do make a list of what I have available on the fridge, which makes dinner planning easy. I have also learned to not ask Ryan what he wants. Because he usually doesn't actually care and it just makes things more difficult for us. So, he'll usually ask me "What are we having for dinner?" I tell him and he says, Great. =)

Anything is better than him having to fend for himself. ;)

That is exactly LG and I's conversation every time we talk about dinner! LOL!

We have the same convo at least once weekly! I've never heard of SkinnyTaste but I'm going to try it! I'm always looking for ideas too. I get a lot from eat-yourself-skinny.com - Kelly's blog is amazing!
