Last year I set resolutions and was pretty surprised to see that I accomplished them! Studies show most people do not and I usually fall into that category, but last year I was proud to see I finished what I started. Hopefully I can continue that trend this year as well!
This year I have a list of resolutions I would like to accomplish. Some of them are the same as last year in order to keep on doing what I'm doing, but some are new...
1. Continue to cook at least five times a week and limit eating out to once a week. Utilize the new crockpot and cook healthy, easy meals.
2. Continue to work at being the healthiest you possible. Workout at least five times a week and take the 80/20 approach and eat healthy 80% of the time while allowing yourself some splurges.
3. Do at least three crafts from Pinterest this year.
4. Read the Bible in a year using this plan.
5. Do at least three devotionals this year. I am currently starting with So Long Insecurity by Beth Moore and The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian.
6. Memorize Scripture using the DailyBible app.
7. Do not take yourself so seriously. Laugh more. Live in the moment. Discipline yourself to pray first instead of worry first. Be thankful. Don't be so hard on yourself.
What are you resolving to do this year?

Crock pots are amazing and can certainly help you continue cooking often. They make it all so easy. I like the idea of not taking yourself too seriously - I have a tendency to do that myself and need to shape up! Thanks for the reminder.
These sound like very realistic goals for the year. I like the first one as I too want to keep eating out to a minimum and making healthy meals is just a bonus.
Number 7 is also awesome since I think we all do take ourselves way too seriously sometimes. I like to think of myself as my own worst critic so trying to live in the moment and just enjoy life is a great idea.
Greta resolutions friend!
I just started power of a praying wife too! it is intense, but I'm sure it will be good!
Awesome list! You can do it:)
I never comment on your blog but #7 realllly hit home for me!! I'll add this to my "goals". And like you, I have been pretty successful the past 2 years in keeping my goals or resolutions. I read the entire Bible in 2010. And I've continue to keep my daily devotions... This year I'm doing Joyce Meyers's Promises for your Everyday Life from Youversion.com. It is great!!!
Love the last one!
Great goals girls, I'm sure you will rock these ones too.
These are wonderful resolutions! You're going to love Power of a Praying Wife! I'm absolutely enjoying it!!!
Your resolutions are very similar to mine! I want to cook more, be healthier, and definitely spend more time (and trust! ) God! You are gonna rock these this year too!
Congrats on accomplishing last year's resolutions. Don't think I know anyone who has. Ha!
I think these are super attainable goals!!! I especially love the Pinterest one. :)
I like that that you say {as|like} my friend thanks
