I hope everyone had a great weekend. We sure did! It was filled with fun friends, good food, hay rides, apple picking, MSU football, sunshine, housework, a great sermon, and this amazing recipe - Totally unhealthy chili cheese sauce made in the crock pot and poured over baked fries. YUM! It was the perfect meal for Saturday football. Garth and I also made Crockpot Meatloaf and it was delicious.
I'm falling in love with my crock pot and cooking with Garth. It's so much fun! I'm even enjoying meal planning. I plan the recipes, write out the shopping list, Garth shops for everything, and then we cook together after work and on the weekends. It's a great new system and I'm loving it! Here is what is on the menu this week:
Monday - Baked Ziti with salad.
Tuesday - Chicken Tortilla Pie.
Wednesday - Slow Cooker Chicken and Rice.
Thursday - Tailgater Chili.
Friday - Out to dinner with friends.
What's on your menu this week? Happy cooking!

sounds like a great plan! I personally hate making the menu, I get excited about things to make then feel like we're always eating the same thing, haha. We are having ziti and salad tonight too!!! great minds think alike :)
we're taking advantage of the beautiful weather & grilling out tonight...steak, potatoes, roasted broccoli...I'm already excited!
Great menu! Chicken tortilla pie sounds yummy!
