Sooooooo Thursday night I went to do laundry like I do every Thursday night, but when I opened the washing machine up the water was still in there. I tried to restart the washer but the water would not drain. The cycle would not finish, but we had all of our camping clothes in there and they were still dirty. What's a girl to do?
Wash clothes the old fashion way, that's what. That is exactly what Garth and I did:
I knew it would be a funny story someday, but I was not happy about it:
Poor Garth spent Saturday morning taking the washer apart to see if the pump was clogged. The pump wasn't clogged so according to the manual the problem is probably the timer. Garth is trying to fix the timer without having to call a repairman, but it's frustrating when you don't really know what you're doing.
Ahhhh life as a homeowner....Always an adventure!

ughhh...definitely one of those things that will be funny one of these days, but just not right now!
Oh no, I would not be happy about that either. It will be a funny story one day though! Hope Garth can get it fixed in no time!
Oh my goodness!! That sucks major balls. Hope it can be fixed without spending any extra money!
I would not be happy either. Hope he fixes it!
Oh goodness! I hope you guys get it fixed - a broken washer or dryer is a real pain in the rear. I often have water standing in mine - but that's because I can't, for the life of me, remember to close the lid on the thing!
Ugh, the sucks! I agree, not funny right now!
ahhh man that just stinks!! our wash broke not long ago - luckily there were no clothes in it. I hated having to get it fixed - pain!!!! but it wasn't much $$ I hope yours is done quickly!!!
dang, did you get it fixed?? I don't know what I'd do if our washer & dryer broke, they're so expensive and essential!!
aaahhh that would be frustrating! it happened in our building recently and i wanted to kill the manufacturer!
One day you will laugh about it but how awful right now. I hope Garth can fix it!
