Happenings.

1. Garth and I tried out a local winery and steakhouse this weekend with fun friends. Both were delicious! We were excited to discover new eateries we enjoyed in our town and be able to support the local economy.

2. We spent a lot of time on our deck and in our pool this weekend. Glorious! Garth and I have a nice base tan for Myrtle Beach now.

3. This is a lifesavor. Seriously. We sprayed our entire backyard a week and a half ago and I haven't seen a single mosquito.

4. I wish I could say the same for the wasp spray we bought. I think it actually attracted the wasps and they liked it. Note to self: Always stick with name brand!

5. Last month would have been my grandpa's 100th birthday. Crazyness!

6. I am currently obsessed with the Hungry Girl Egg Mugs. So easy, so yummy, and so filling.

7. I have had a little bit of buyer's remorse this week. I adore my house, I really do. But our kitchen faucet and garage door broke in the same week. Not a fan of being a homeowner this week.

8. Speaking of homeownership, I hate weeding. It is my least favorite job EVER. I loathe it. I swear, I just weeded a week ago and already the weeds are back. Grrrr!

9. I'm done complaining, I swear. I really do love our house and love being a homeowner. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

10. Happy Wednesday!

Sounds like a lovely relaxing weekend! I'll have to try out that mosquito spray, I got quite a few bites when we were laying out in our grass watching all the fireworks!

Sounds like a fun weekend minus the house stuff :)

Awww.the joys of homeownership! The first summer we were in our house weeding was a nightly ritual, I'm happy to say that after that first summer the weeding has diminished considerably!

Buy some Preen to put down in your flowerbeds for the weeds. It won't hurt the flowers and it really works! I never have to weed.

Looking forward to when we can settle down and buy a house ourselves! I'm with ya on the weeding;)
