Fit Friday, Etc...

1. I lost a pound this week and I'm happy with that. I have lost a total of 4 lbs and if I continue to lose a pound a week I will have lost 10 lbs.

2. I would be happy with that, but I might even step it up when Myrtle Beach gets closer and if I start losing 2 lbs a week I'll have lost 15 lbs which would be ideal.

3. I'm realizing losing weight this time around is a lot more difficult. Is it because I'm getting older so my motabolism is slowing down? I'm not sure, but I'm doing the same things I did last time around and the weight isn't coming off as quickly.

4. I guess when I get back to my goal weight (or below!) I will make sure to not gain it back this tme around.

5. Mr. Popper's Peguins comes out today and I am going to try really hard to get Garth to go see it with me this weekend. I am obsessed with penguins and want to see this movie really bad. The last two penguin movies were VERY disappointing - March of the Penguins (too sad) and Happy Feet (too political).

6. Since Green Lantern came out this weekend it may be difficult to get Garth to see my movie though...

7. Small group this week was AWESOME. I'm so thankful God brought us together and we are becoming really good friends. It's a huge blessing.

8. My dad pulled a tendon in his arm that needed to be reattached with surgery this week. The surgery went well (praise the Lord!) and his recovery is going smoothly. Now we are just praying for a quick, uneventful recovery.

9. My new obsession is fat-free vanilla yogurt with granola and fresh strawberries. YUM!

10. Happy Father's Day weekend! I hope you all have a great one!

I've been eating vanilla yogurt with granola and blueberries. I pair it with a hard boiled egg and it keeps me full for hours. Yum!

Oh I think that movie looks so cute! Of course Hubby will probably think it deserves Redbox only status!

There was a recipe in the Biggest Loser cookbook where you take a banana, vanilla yogurt, granola, strawberries, and low fat fudge, and put it together. They call it a Breakfast Banana Split, I think. It is sooooooo good! And it allows me just a bit of chocolate!

I know that sometimes when you reach a certain weight, your body is telling itself not to lose anymore weight. So maybe that's it. Maybe your body is saying, you are at a good weight and you don't need to lose anymore. ;) Enjoy the penguin movie :)
