Random Musings.

1. I was sucked into American Idol and Biggest Loser last night. For the first time, I don't care who wins Idol. I like both of them equally and I love country music so I will listen to them both.

2. This past weekend was gorgeous. We spent Friday night at our neighbor's house on their deck enjoying the weather.

3. Saturday was our neighborhood garage sale so we spent the morning walking through and hoping to score some good stuff. Unfortantely, the majority of garage sales was baby related and toys.

4. Sunday we celebrated my youngester brother's birthday. We went to an Irish pub and then came back to my parent's to enjoy margaritas with tequila from Mexico.

5. My parents just got back from Mexico. They went on vacation to celebrate 30 years of marraiage. How awesome is that?!?!

6. Garth and I still going strong on the South Beach Diet. I allowed myself a cheat meal during the weekend, but I'm on track again and feeling great. My jeans are getting loose so I'm hoping the scale reflects my hard work this week!

7. We're trying a new Asian restuarant tonight with our small group and I'm excited!

8. I am beyond excited for the three day weekend.

9. Happy Wednesday! Give me your randoms.

Try not to rely on the scale too much. My husband lost a ton of weight and you can see it, but the scale didn't move that much.

Mmm...tequila. We had Mexican food with friends last night and I had to add extra lime to my water so I wouldn't feel as sad as everyone around me had margaritas. Haha!

It's been years since I've been in the American Idol loop. I always loved the show, it's just been that I haven't had tv, or been too busy otherwise to watch it. We have DVR and all, but I'd rather watch DVR House and CSI than American Idol!

Good luck on South Beach! It's an awesome way to drop a few pounds if needed!

It is always a blessing to be married to someone for 30 years. It is so rare and good to hear.
