Lets see how we did last week:
Monday - grilled chicken and green beans. Delish!
Tuesday - turkey burgers, lettuce, mustard, and tomato (no bun). I cheated and had the bun, it was just so much tastier.
Wednesday - steak with roasted brussel sprouts. Yum! Steak is becoming one of my favorite meats and brussel sprouts are becoming my favorite veggie.
Thursday - turkey breast wrapped in lettuce, cheese, light ranch dressing, and onion. We went out to eat with our small group instead. I had half the tuna melt because it was the lowest calorie option on the menu.
Friday - grilled chicken and edamame. So good! I'm glad we got to enjoy the grill one last time before it got cold again.
Here is what is on the menu for this week:
Monday - Grilled chicken caesar salad.
Tuesday - Steak and brussel sprouts.
Wednesday - Grilled chicken and edamame.
Thursday - Black beans and reduced fat cheese with red peppers.
Friday - Hot dogs (no bun) with green beans.
As you can see from the menu this week we are still doing the South Beach Diet. I cheated a few times last week but I have noticed my skin looking better and my pants fitting nicely. I haven't weighed in yet, but I plan to at the end of this week. I also plan on not cheating this week!
My breakfasts include egg white omlets, hard boiled eggs, or protein shakes. My lunches have been turkey lettuce wraps with hummus with peanuts or reduced fat string cheese for snacks. I love that I'm not eating processed foods and am looking forward to weighing in on Friday and moving on to Phase 2!

Menu looks so yummy! We love steak at our house as well, and if you buy lean meat then it's really actually good for you!
I love roasted brussel sprouts! They taste nothing like the vegatable I remember from my childhood days!
Okay- I had to steal the Menu Monday concept! Hardly any of my great girlfriends, so I'm loving posting my fav recipes! So thank you for the fantastic idea!
