I love God. My husband makes me laugh a lot. I could eat sushi everyday. I have been to Israel. I hate the rain in my shoes. I enjoy reading theology. I love Broadway musicals. I hate florescent lights. I like dressing up. I love weddings. I hate cake. I enjoy planning events. I adore Hawaii. I wish I could sing. I hope bell bottoms never go out of style. I am not a city girl. I love hanging out with my husband. I can kick your butt at Connect Four. I love bike riding. I should have been born in a state with an ocean. I'm following THE Rabbi. I like to clean. I love to laugh. I rather read than cook. I want to love God with my life.
Garth's journey to faith had a lot to do with music. He has a passion for guitar and he's good at playing. When he first started going to church he was drawn in by the music. He always wanted to give back in this way because of the effect music in the church had on him. He tried out for the praise band a couple weeks ago at our church and had his first live performance yesterday! He worked so hard practicing the songs and he was a natural up on stage. He loved being up on stage playing live and cannot wait for his next gig.
Yay Garth!! Matt is on the worship team at our church, and I love seeing him up there (although it can be really distracting from, you know...worship).
Our church is fairly large, and on days when Jack is sick, he and I stay home to watch the service online...THAT is really weird to see Matt up there then!
Im so glad Garth has this opportunity to use his gifts!
Oh - how exciting! I'm so glad he got to join the team. I'm a TOTAL music person, so I can relate. I'd love to see a video of him playing sometime. :-)

How cool! That is your church stage? It's huge!
God uses so many things to reach us. Music is a HUGE tool! So glad that Garth has an opportunity to make that same difference in someone else's life!
