Weight Update.

It's been a long time since I gave a weight update so I thought now was as good a time as any. I can't believe this but I am STILL maintaining. I know this is better than gaining, but seriously it's been months and I cannot lose these last ten pounds.
I'll drop two to four pounds but then gain it back. Case in point - last week I worked out every day and counted calories and GAINED a pound. This week I ate pizza twice and popcorn at the movies and LOST a pound. It doesn't make any sense.
But all that to say, I am trying to focus on how I look and feel and not on the fickle scale. I try to remember I'm building muscle and my pants are loose. Not to mention the fact that I lost sixteen pounds and I've kept it off for months! I really need to stop beating myself up and agonizing over the last ten and be content in all my body can do and has already accomplished.
I know it's unrealistic to try and lose the last ten during the holidays. So my goal for this month is to continue maintaining by working out regularly and eating in moderation. But come January 1 I WILL lose these last ten!!
Just for fun, I'll share my workout plan with you:
Sunday - Biggest Loser Cardio Max
Monday - Get Ripped
Tuesday - 30 min on treadmill and 15 min Biggest Loser Yoga
Wednesday - Get Ripped
Thursday - 30 min on treadmill and 15 min Biggest Loser Yoga
Friday - Results Fitness
Saturday - Biggest Loser Cardio Max
I highly recommend all of these videos. I am really starting to see definition in my arms, abs, and legs and I'm loving it.

I'm all for standing behind you on your goals. But, have you ever thought that you might already be at your body's ideal weight? Sometimes that plateau is the ideal weight your body is supposed to be at. But, I have faith you can lose the last 10.

I'm jealous of you! I can so much look at popcorn and pizza and gain weight! Ha! I've been maintaining too, but it's far from what I need to be doing!

You can do it! I struggle with 5 pounds up and down and I hate it. But its good to focus on other things, i.e. how your jeans fit, etc.

Congrats on maintaining! That is a huge accomplishment (on top of losing those 16). And sometimes I find it's easier for me to lost weight when I let go a little bit. Maybe it's the stress of keeping track of all of it, that we forget to enjoy it.

And thanks for the comment on my blog - I love new readers!

I'm just impressed you have a workout for every day of the week. At this point I'm lucky if I can find the time 2-3 times a week!

That is exactly why I NEVER use the scale. I judge my weight loss by the size of my pants, not the numbers on the scale. It's really true that muscle weighs more than fat and at a certain point, you keep losing weight but gaining muscle, causing all types of scale confusion! Keep up the great work!!
