We stayed in the cutest town in southwest Michigan. The downtown was quaint with lots of fun shops and restaurants and nestled right on Lake Michigan. There were these statues everywhere and Garth called this one my boyfriend:

The End. I only got pictures from the first day, but the next 2 days were just repeat of that. Grill. Go to the beach. Come back and grill again. Roast marshmellows. Go to sleep. It's the simple life and I'm not complaining.

A pajama llama! How funny!! I love the statues! In Athens, we have statues of bulldogs (dressed up as different things) everywhere. They are so fun!

Yeah, that is soooooooooooooooo St. Joseph, I grew up going on vacations there! I've walked that beach and that pier and that little town about a zillion times in my life, and I'd recognize it anywhere! I'm so jealous -- I miss my favorite place in Michigan. So glad you enjoyed it -- I always have!
i just stumbled across your blog for the first time and I was looking at your pictures and i FREAKED out because that statue of the gorilla and golfing is about 2 blocks from our house! my hubby and i challenge each other to a "game" everytime we walk into town! how fun! glad you enjoyed our town!! :)
