Hurry up weekend!!

Garth and I have truly been blessed with amazing friends and for that we are thankful. Friday night our small group came over for dinner and a game night. It's pretty funny we all get along so well because we're all different ages, ranging from 25 to 65, and in different lifestages. Nonetheless, we laughed a lot, had some great conversations, and laughed a lot more. It was a great night.

Saturday Garth and I went to Blockbuster right when it opened to rent Twilight. I finally finished the book so I could watch the movie. I found it quite freaky that Edward was exactly how I pictured him in my mind while reading. I usually don't like book-turned-movies because the actors are not how I had imagined them to be, but Edward was exactly how I imagined him to be. Weird. So I've jumped on the bandwagon and am excited to start New Moon!

Sunday was much like Saturday. After church and lunch with my fam, Garth and I relaxed. Ahh it was much needed to lounge around, read, take a nap, make food and spend time with Garth. Such a fabulous, relaxing weekend!

I'm ready for next weekend now because I've got more fun plans - double date Thursday night, girls night out Friday, and sushi with friends Saturday. Hurry up weekend!!!

Sounds like a wonderful time. I think I'm going to invent a machine that allows one to skip forward to friday and then back to Sunday whenever you want.

:) I wish I could find a good small group! That sounds wonderful!

As for Twilight, I'm a little scared to watch it, since I do the same thing with the characters. For some reason the clips I have seen make me think he didn't look at all like I had imagined! haha!

And I've read all four of the Twilight books. SO, SO good. A little frustrating at times, and so emotional (I cried a lot), but REALLY good!

(oh, and you are welcome!) =)

I've read the whole series, and was curious about the movie. I tend to not like the movies after the books as well, but I did hear it was pretty good - can't wait to see it. All the books were great - you need to read the rest of them.

Very cool! We need to find more people to hang out with in our area. I kind of feel like we a bit out of touch with other people. It is sad. Have fun next weekend!

Don't expect too much from the movie. It was super low budget and, well, it just isn't as good as the book. But enjoy it anyway!

I think I'm the only one left that hasn't jumped on the Twilight bandwagon. I don't know why I keep resisting.
But here's go laid back weekends, they're the best.
