how long does newlywedism last do you think? Im curious...is it a set number..like two years? One year? Til you have kids? Til you no longer hold hands in public? I've always wondered. I like being a newlywed...i dont want it to end!

You can still be a Newlywed if you still feel like one! How's that?! I actually heard the same thing The Pink Chick did.. That it's for the first 3 years.. Or did I hear 5? I don't know. It can't be five though! I want to be an old married couple at four years!!

You're weekend is about to go out the door now that you are reading Twilight. I found it more addicting than Starbucks. Enjoy every minute.

I say you're a Newlywed til you get to anniversaries that don't sound like something scrounged out of the garbage.

Seriously, paper? tin?

You can be a newlywed as long as you want! :-)

I wonder that, too! When does someone stop being considered a newlywed? But an older gentleman I work with said being a newlywed is a mindset - he's 60-something and he says he's still a newlywed becuase he still feels the same way not as he did when they first got married over 35 years ago AND because he looks at every day as an opportunity to learn something new about his beautiful wife.

Aren't old people cute? I say we're still newlyweds for sure!

PS: Why did they decide to make certain anniversaries paired with certain materials? i.e. crystal, paper, etc. And the bigger question - WHO got to decide what was what and HOW does one apply for this job?!

You are definitely still a newlywed! I still defined myself as one up until our two year anniversary last September :) You have a whole year to go!!

I think YOU will always be a newlywed :)

I did a post not too long ago wondering the same thing. Someone responded with - "You are a newlywed as long as you want to be one!" and I agree! We are about to have our second anniversary on Monday and I still consider us newlyweds.

One older guy I work with said that I'm not a newlywed anymore. That you are only a newlywed for one year. I don't know though. But if I'm not a newlywed, what am I?

BTW, I'm about to sound like an idiot... but did you know like half your header is cut off your blog? I think about it evertime I look at your blog. :)

Thank you for finding me first, and now I've found you back! I ALSO work from home, and I'm ALSO a newlywed (does the 3-year thing count if you have a baby around your 1-year anniversary?). How are you liking Twilight? I'm getting ready to start the fourth (and final, boo-hoo) book. I'm bookmarking your blog, new friend!
