On my mind

First off, thank you all for your sweet comments on my last post. I was afraid to post the story out of sheer humiliation, but you were all so supportive and sweet so thanks friends!!! And I truly believe we are all friends even though we haven't met in "real life." I talk about you to my husband and he enjoys reading all of your comments!

In other unrelated news, I voted (for the first time!!) for Matt Girard on American Idol. Even though he didn't do so great last night, he has a rockin' voice. But more importantly than that, my cousin was suite mates with him in college and my brother has seen him perform at the dueling piano bar he worked at and that's pretty awesome. Secretly, I want Danny Getke to win though. He lost his wife which breaks my heart, and he's a church music director. How cool is that?!

To answer the questions about Twilight, I am loving the book! Sadly I'm still reading the first book, but I'm almost done with it and it is so hard to put down!!!

Sorry this is such a random post, but I also wanted to keep you updated on my weightloss. I haven't been posting about it the last few weeks and I'm sorry! I still have been on track and working out at least an hour a day mixing cardio, weight lifting, and pilates. I also track my calorie intake and try to keep it between 1200 and 1300 per day. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down another 2 pounds!!!

Since some you asked, here is my food journal for yesterday:
Quaker Oatmeal mixed with whey protein powder (250 calories)
Apple (45 calories)
Sargento Light Cheese Stick (50 calories)
Select Harvest Italian Style Wedding Soup (220 calories)
2 celementines (90 calories)
Light and Fit Yogurt (80 calories)
Pad Thai (500 calories)
TOTAL: 1235 calories

I hope that helps. If you forget to look on the box for the calories, you can google it. Make sure you type in the brand name because it makes a difference. I do calculate drinks in there too, but yesterday I just drank water all day which helps keep me busy and not as hungry! I hope that helps.

Congrats on the weight loss! I don't even watch American Idol.. (shocked face from all who read this comment) I've never really been into it--I don't like how Simon treats people!

I may have to jump on the Twilight bandwagon!

Yay! I voted for Adam, I do like Matt though. He might remind me a little too much of Justin Timberlake, though who I CANNOT STAND!

Good job on the weight loss and working out! I do have a question.. do you have a calorie counter online that you use? A while back my brother and his wife had a website that they logged into to input their calories & look up stuff. They don't remember what it was called, so I was curious if you do the same sort of thing, or do you just write it down.

Oh man! Way to go on the calorie counting. I really need to start doing that again. I'm getting a bit more squishy than I used to be.

Ah, I remember the Twilight Days. I was obsessed and nothing got done around the house. Watching American Idol right now actually. Too bad about Matt.

I never thought of putting protein powder in oatmeal, I've always just made smoothies with it. Thanks for the idea and for stopping by my blog this week!

I'm reading the Twilight series too! I'm on the 2nd book. Had some trouble getting into it. I flew through Twilight, but New Moon doesn't get really good till about 1/3 of the way through! ENJOY!
