Never Done This Before

Garth and I are doing something we have never done before. We are being uber spontaneous! We are leaving a decision up to fate!
We are...not booking an anniversary trip. Instead, we are going to take the week of our anniversary off of work and keep checking for last minute deals. If we don't get a great deal then we'll book a few nights at the hotel we spent our wedding night. It's a win-win situation, really.
I have been checking Expedia, Travelocity, Hot Wire, Priceline, etc and there are some incredible last minute deals (like $30 roundtrip airfare to Vegas and $12/day rental cars!) if you can leave next week.
So Garth and I have decided to wait for a great deal to come along, and praying there will be a great deal in Key West! Seriously, we don't really care where the deals are, we just want a great deal!
What happened to the Smokey Mountain getaway? We are already sick of the snow, so by Feb we will def be sick of it. Plus, the suspense of not knowing is exciting!

that is SUCH a great idea! i would love to do something like that! we usually know where we're going when we travel, but we wait until the last minute to book the hotel, and use the "pick your own price" feature on priceline.
