Family, Food, & Fun

This weekend was so good. Friday night we double dated with some friends at Chili's. The food is so fab, I could eat there everyday, but then I would be 500 pounds. Then Garth and I went home and watched more Season 2 of "The Office."
Saturday Garth made us omelettes, delish! We played cards and were lazy all morning. Then we went to visit his fam. It was Oktoberfest so we went to this brewery and enjoyed some yummy beer and the most amazingly greasy food! We walked around downtown and we took lots of photos (I'll post these soon). Then we did some shopping and my mother-in-law bought me the cutest purple sweater! Then we went back to her house and hung out and watched the U of M game. We hung out with his sister when she got home from work and then we headed home to continue our obsession with "The Office."
Sunday we went to church with my fam and then back to my house to celebrate my mom's birthday. We ate yummy food, played more Ladder Golf, sipped on margaritas and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Then Garth and I went home to feed our addiction to "The Office."
Monday mornings are the worst. I woke up with a stuffy nose and a headache. This is probably the worst way to wake up, especially on a Monday. But I took my Airbourne, sipped on some orange juice and went to work. By the end of the day I was feeling horrible so Garth ordered sushi take-out (he knows the key to my heart) and we started on Season 3 of "The Office." It was a great Monday night.
Last night we had our "South African Date Night" as we have titled them. My old roomie from college's fiance and my husband are both from South Africa, hence the title. I'm not so sure they love the title, but they're good sports. Garth made his specicalty, Italian Chicken and potatoes. So good! It was great to catch up with them. Looking forward to another "South African Date Night" soon!=)

Um, can I have a side of all of the food you mentioned? I'm pretty sure that would make my day!

I hope you are feeling better. It seems like a lot of people have been getting sick lately. Maybe it is the changing of seasons :>/
