I love God. My husband makes me laugh a lot. I could eat sushi everyday. I have been to Israel. I hate the rain in my shoes. I enjoy reading theology. I love Broadway musicals. I hate florescent lights. I like dressing up. I love weddings. I hate cake. I enjoy planning events. I adore Hawaii. I wish I could sing. I hope bell bottoms never go out of style. I am not a city girl. I love hanging out with my husband. I can kick your butt at Connect Four. I love bike riding. I should have been born in a state with an ocean. I'm following THE Rabbi. I like to clean. I love to laugh. I rather read than cook. I want to love God with my life.
That is the question. Do we save money and go to the beautiful hotel we stayed at on our wedding night? Or... I have always wanted to see Arizona. Should we explore the Grand Canyon? Right now we are leaning towards a cozy, romantic vacay in the Smokey Mountains. What do you think?
We went all out for our first anniversary and did a romantic weekend at a bed and breakfast in Hill Country - complete with a 3 day private cooking class from a gourmet chef! It was fantastic. We started a new tradition after our cooking class and now do one "gourmet" meal together each month and try out new recipes. I would totally recommend doing something that you can continue!
Hmm - I say go big or go home! Do something fantastic. I always think to myself, "we are young and we don't have any kids yet - let's do stuff while we're FREEEEEE!" ya know?!
The Grand Canyon is very beautiful. I think Arizona is amazing. However, I've never been to the Smokey Mountains and I think it would be a great place to celebrate too!
Glad you enjoyed my blog! Yours is pretty awesome too!!! My husband and I are actually leaving for our 1 Year Anniversary trip in 4 days!!!! We're going to Disney World :-)
