Life Lately: Week 4

This is what the past week looked like.

Winter skies that take my breath away.

It has been so cold here that we have lit candles and stayed nice and cozy.

On cold nights there is nothing better than chicken tikka masala. So comforting!

I finished How To Walk Away by Katherine Center and I'm still thinking about it. I was about to give up on it after the first chapter, but Center's writing was captivating and I couldn't stop reading. I loved this book, especially the ending. Highly recommend!

I've been battling a cold for over two weeks and haven't been able to hear out of my right ear. I finally went to urgent care and I'm on meds and finally on the mend.

I'm now reading Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling and it's a much lighter read which is exactly what I need.

I saw this on Facebook and it's SO TRUE.

I mean, see?! Ha!

My sweet friend gave me a Young Living diffuser and I love it. I'm just getting into oils so tell me your favorites!

We celebrated G's birthday on Mitchell's Fish Market and it was fun. We had cosmos to kick off the celebration.

I had this Ahi Tuna Bowl that I'm still thinking about. It was so fresh and flavorful and I want it again.

I'm happy to report G and I are still eating at the dinner table every night and then playing cards. It's so much fun and renewed my love of games. Our recent faves our Casino, Rummy and Nines.
