Topsail Island Part 3

**We are praying for all who have been affected by Hurricane Michael. We are heart broken by the loss and devastation left in its wake.**

You can catch up on the first few parts below:

This day was a little different. We set our alarms for 6:00 a.m. and headed to the beach for sunrise.

There was barely anyone on the beach and it was just so peaceful.

It turned out to be a stunning sunrise.

Definitely worth waking up for!

We drank our coffee and enjoyed the show. P.S. These Yetis were amazing! They kept our coffee super hot and they kept beer and wine super cold all afternoon as well.

I'm still not over the beauty of this sunrise. Oh my soul! We spent the rest of this day and our last day on the beach soaking up as much beach time as possible.

For lunch we headed to Daddy Mac's. It was right on the water with a low key, beach vibe.

This pomegranate martini was my favorite cocktail of the trip. YUMMY!

I had the fish tacos and they were pretty good.

But you just can't beat that view. I feel I should note this pier took a beating during the hurricane and those dunes are basically gone. SO SAD!

Like all vacations, it went too dang fast. We packed up and were on the road by 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in Charleston, West Virginia. I can't recommend it enough. The staff was awesome. We had the pool to ourselves. We had this great view of the river. We were walking distance to cute restaurants.

We ate dinner at Black Sheep Burritos and Brews. I highly recommend this funky restaurant if you're in the area. The beer was so good and the burrito was the best of my entire life. It was so flavorful! I had the marinated tofu with rice, kimchi, cashews and a cucumber vinaigrette. OH. EM. GEEEE. So flavorful!

After dinner we walked around the town. Walked on the river.

Sunday morning we slept in and then walked to First Watch for breakfast. We had these fun kale and pomegranate orange juice drinks.

This breakfast though. It was incredible! So yummy. We both ate almost all of it and were not hungry again until we got home in time for dinner, ha!

We drove and drove. It was a long drive, but it was pretty. Especially when you see a double rainbow.

We broke up the drive by stopping in a cute little town in Ohio for coffee.

We were home by 6:30 after a long day of driving. It rained almost the entire drive, but we made it home in time for a gorgeous sunset.

Manny was happy to be home too!
